Family Kitchen / Dining

The space was a neutral dining room, with dark wooden veneer furniture. The blank canvas didn’t reflect the client’s love of colour.

The wallpaper used to line the wine rack was the colour inspiration for the room pallet and the nod to the art deco print was reflected in the mirror and lighting choices. Furniture was upcycled using hardy and durable paint. The curtains were high quality and needed to be retained but were given a facelift with a mustard cover and enough material left over to cover the dining room chairs.

This space is at the heart of the family home so was the first project tackled. I can’t wait to help with the rest of their blank canvases.
