Family Kitchen

This project involved developing a kitchen design for a family who enjoy entertaining but also wanted to space for studying and relaxing as a family. The kitchen needed to be hardwearing and incorporate a custom made larder unit.

Layouts, traffic flows, materials and lighting options were all explored, with the kitchen triangle considered in all decision making. The final kitchen design explored a colour pallet inspired by nature, with a kitchen island designed to be the social hub for the family. The dining area had banquette seating to offer versatility to the space for dining, relaxing or socialising creating a multifunctional and practical space.

“Sarah put us at ease from the start”

★★★★★

“Sarah put us at ease from the start, asking loads of questions and patiently sharing and discussing different colours, styles and ideas that might be suitable for our tricky north-facing kitchen diner.

She provided a range of different visuals and samples to help us see how her designs might look, all of which provided a new and innovative take on the space that we hadn't considered, plus some amazing wallpaper patterns! Sarah happily made a few edits to the design until we were totally happy and we have settled on a design that reflects us perfectly and will be easy to live in as well as making us smile. I can't wait for the decorators to start!.”
